Refunds & Cash Register Tape Frustration

DEAR $UPER $AVER: I am writing to tell you about my pet peeve when sending in for refunds or free coupons, etc.  Here are my pet peeves: 1.) Why do the manufacturer’s always need the entire cash register receipt with the price circled?  If I lose the receipt I can’t send for the free items. 2.)
