Big Lots is voluntarily recalling nearly 30,000 of these futon bunk beds due to the hazard they pose to children. In March 2010, a child became trapped when the metal bed was being lowered from sitting to laying down. The child was stuck and couldn't breathe. CPR was performed, but the child died due to compression asphyxiation. The bunk beds also pose problems. Nearly 11,000 boxes of Kashi pizza is being voluntarily recalled due to the possibility of plastic pieces in an ingredient of the crusts. There have been no reported consumer complaints.
